29 year old Bronx Native, Layla Jay is a self taught natural hair care giver. Her love for locs lead to her mastering the craft and herself "Theelocsmith". Starting off practicing on friends in the backyard of her family home to servicing clients part time in her first in home salon to now, renting her own booth inside of "Three Stars Barbershop" on White Plains Road in the Bronx.
Along with earning her certification as a Lash stylist in October 2017; Layla looks to further her education in business and Natural hair care, in hopes to opening her own salon in the near future.
